1994 Koga Miyata SkyMonocoque
According to Koga the SkyMonocoque is one of three 'monocoque' frames developed in close cooperation with German aerospace company Donier. The other two were the roadbike FullProMonocoque and a advanced hybrid concept with variable seatangle. Only the MTB and the roadbike went into production.
The frame actually isn't a monocoque as it is made out of two shells that are glued together. I have never seen one, what probably has a lot to do with that the bike can be considered very rare. It was sold at the same price as the 1994 SkyExpension. Specs were also pretty similar: Showa front suspension, XTR and many ITM parts.
